Nintendo has just announce its next Nintendo Direct for August 27, 2024, 7 AM PT. August 27, 10 PM for the Philippines. The livestream will featuring both the Partner Showcase and Indie World back-to-back and will be roughly 40 minutes in total. The previous Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase was last February 21, 2024. Tekken 8 is bringing more surprises as Heihachi Mishima has been announced to be the next DLC character. This was announced during the EVO 2024 event in Las Vegas alongside a character trailer. We didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into when we picked up the “Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack” on a whim. What we got was fast-paced, rank-based, 2D action, coupled with beautifully detailed sprite work, and a surprisingly gripping narrative.
