Are you ready to meet the next generation of Filipino game developers? The Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) 2024 has recently announced on their official Facebook page the opening of tickets for the event. Normally, tickets for the expo and workshops would cost PHP 3,500 with tickets for the expo only costing PHP 1,335, but with an early bird sale lasting until May 17, 2024, tickets could cost PHP 3,150 and PHP 1,200. The event will take place on July 26-28, 2024 at the SMX Convention Center, Manila Function Room 3-5. Tickets can be bought on their official website.
The PGDX previously ran last August 18 to 20, 2023, also at the SMX Convention Center, and hosted over 53 exhibitors, 65 Speakers, and a Foot Traffic of 18,207. Organized by CBZN Perspective and The Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP), this years event is set to feature several panels and workshops led by prominent figures in the gaming industry for creators to enhance their skills and learn from the best, opportunities to network and connect with local and industry developers, and a range of cosplay, eSports, and celebrity stage events. Guest speakers include Marcus Foon, Global Program Manager – Google/Indie Games Accelerator & Community, Alvin Juban, Studio Director of Synergy88, the Philippine’s first Microsoft-accredited art supplier, and Jun Shen Chia, Xbox Gaming Ecosystem – Global Expansion (GX) Manager, SE Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
