Almost 11 years after its original release, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn continues to grow as it enters the mobile realm. Final Fantasy XIV Mobile is officially licensed by Square Enix and developed by Lightspeed Studios and is made under the supervision of FFXIV Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida and development team members. The game is set in the expansive realm of Eorzea and is accompanied by the beloved music of Final Fantasy XIV.

Features such as the 9 playable races, Triple Triad and Chocobo Racing, and the expansive social systems are expected to be ported over to the mobile version. The announcement did not reveal a launch date. The game is schedule to launch in China first, with a worldwide release planned.
