Bandai Namco Entertainment has just announced at the Anime Expo, BLEACH Rebirth of Souls. This 3D arena fighter is set to be released on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will be developed by Tamsoft Corporation, famous for the Onechanbara series.
Based on the popular manga by Tite Kubo, the game’s story is set to cover the “Substitute Soul Reaper” to “Arrancar” arcs. The trailer features the series’ signature characters Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). High-speed sword fighting action, unique sword abilities like Bankai, and new forms to unlock. BLEACH Rebirth of Souls looks to be perfect for any longtime Bleach fan.
This game development was inspired by the franchise’s 20th anniversary. All in all, this looks to be a renaissance for the popular series. We hope a release date comes soon!
