A new entry in the popular Arkhamverse series of games has been officially revealed to be an exclusive to the Meta Quest 3. “Batman: Arkham Shadow” sees the return of the Caped Crusader to the streets of Gotham, this time with you being in his POV. The game is developed by Camouflaj, makers of the Marvel’s Iron Man VR, with Oculus Studios and is expected to be released late 2024 with more news to be revealed on June 7 during Summer Game Fest.
“Collaborating closely with WB Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, we aim to deliver an authentic new entry in the celebrated Arkham franchise, something that the series’ millions of fans will know is no easy feat.” Camouflaj Founder & Studio Director, Ryan Payton, & The Crew said in a statement released on their website. “The prospect of adding a new chapter to such a storied franchise is exhilarating. (And it’s been a lot of fun.) We are committed to building upon the beloved foundation laid by the legendary team at Rocksteady, and driven to do it justice.”
