Marvelous Inc., known for their work on the Story of Season (formerly Harvest Moon) games, has announced the latest Marvelous Game Showcase will be streamed on May 30, 2024 (May 31, 6 AM Philippine Time), on their Youtube Channel. The company previously held its first digital showcase last May 25, 2023. This 30-minute stream will discuss their upcoming titles and releases.

Marvelous Game Showcase 2023

Last year, the Marvelous Game Showcase unveiled multiple games in popular Marvelous franchises as well as new projects in development. One of the games released then was Fashion Dreamer, released back on November 3, 2023, on the Nintendo Switch. The game had players become top fashion influencers by dressing up various characters to gain social media followers. Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Released back on June 27, 2023. the game is a remake of the popular Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Players returned to Forgotten Valley for new events, enhanced festivals, more recipes to cook, and a cornucopia of never-before-seen crops. A new entry in the Story of Seasons franchise was also teased.

Among the new projects was Project Magia. This new game was built around the theme of “A New Frontier” according to Managing producer, Takehiro Ishida. The illustrator and writer of the popular manga Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima, serves as the character designer. No details of the project have been revealed since then.

Another revealed project was Project Life is RPG. This throwback to classic RPGs was built around the theme of “Life”, said Director Ittetsu Suzuki.

The two new titles, Rune Factory 6 and Rune Factory: Project Dragon, were also revealed. Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion also received a teaser trailer. With no release dates attached to these projects, the Marvelous Game Showcase 2024 is expected to be the next spot for news on these anticipated release.
