In a press release by Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts is officially coming to Steam on June 13, 2024 after previously being on the Epic Game Store. Multiple Kingdom Hearts experiences are coming to the platform, specifically: KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind DLC, KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE (bundle that includes all the above compilations).
Since 2002, the Kingdom Hearts has captured the interest and imagination of gamers across the world with its blending of Disney and Square Enix properties, a sprawling-world hopping epic, and a cast of lovable original characters all wrapped up in an action-RPG that is unlike any other. The games released are part of the ‘Dark Seeker Saga’ spanning from the first Kingdom Hearts game to Kingdom Hearts III + ReMind DLC, released back in January 2019. Kingdom Hearts III was made available on the Epic Game Store last March 2021. Will this Steam release open the way for more entries to be on the platform? Will the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV, announced last April 2022, also be on Steam? What we do know is that we’ll be ready for our next playthrough of the Kingdom Hearts games when it arrives on Steam! Will you be playing the game too?
