Electronic Arts (EA) has revealed that the classic PC games The Sims and The Sims 2 will be rereleased on PC on January 31, 2025, on the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store. In celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary, the ‘The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle’ will allow gamers to run these classic games on modern computers. Check out the reveal trailer below!
The relaunched version of ‘The Sims’ and ‘The Sims 2’ will run in its original resolution with options to scale it to fit your monitor. The game will feature an updated rendering engine and updates for more versatile pixel resolution scaling on large monitors. Additionally, if you still have save files preserved on your computer, you will be able to run them by following the step-by-step guide EA has posted.
