Tekken 8 is bringing more surprises as Heihachi Mishima has been announced to be the next DLC character. This was announced during the EVO 2024 event in Las Vegas alongside a character trailer. He’s expected to arrive during Autumn 2024 after Eddy Gordo and Lidia Sobieska arrive in Spring and Summer, respectively.
Heihachi Mishima has been one of the franchise’s iconic villains ever since the first Tekken in 1994. Previously, in Tekken 7, he was last seen being chucked off a cliff into a volcano. Now he’s back, ready to take on all players who dare!
Also announced at EVO 2024 is the TEKKEN 8 x Nike collaboration. Step into the fray with the in-game Nike Air Foamposite One “Kazuya” + “Jin”, also arriving in Autumn.
Tekken 8 was released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam last January 26 and has sold over 2 million copies in its first month of launch.
