Mining and Mina-ing for Yacht Club Games’ Future
Yacht Club Games was founded by former WayForward Technologies director Sean Velasco in 2011. The company has made a name for themselves for their successful Kickstarter campaign for Shovel Knight in 2014. The 8-bit style platformer was critically acclaimed and has been getting regular updates. The last of which was bundled as Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and released in December 2019. The previous Yacht Club Games Presents aired in February 2022 and revealed Mina the Hollower. An isometric 8-bit style adventure game revolving around an inventor and “Hollower” named Mina.
