Owners of PS5’s and PC’s are in luck! PlayStation has revealed the PlayStation VR2 PC adapter which will allow the PS5 players access to additional VR games on PC via Steam. The adapter will be released on August 7, 2024, for a retail price of $59.99 or PHP 3,517.
Entering new VR worlds
The PlayStation VR2 was released February 22, 2023 and is available for an estimated price of PHP 34,790. According to the PlayStation Blog, players will also need a commercially available DisplayPort cable that is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4. Players will also need the PlayStation VR2 App and the SteamVR App from Steam with the PlayStation VR2 PC adapter. With the vast library of VR games Steam has to offer, PS5 players will have more to choose from. VR games exclusive on Steam such as Half-Life: Alyx, VTOL VR, and Blade and Sorcery, will now be accessible to PS5 owners.
